Jeremy Namkung is a recording artist from Sebastopol, California. He is better known as the rapper J. Lately , and with his casual and soulful style, he embodies a thoughtful California cool that brings listeners and audiences on a musical journey through a balance of intentional contemplation and escapism. Jeremy has a background in education and psychology, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with youth. His latest EP – CAMPFIRE is available on I-tunes and Youtube music. When I caught up with him, we chatted about how his own youth informed his work, his identity as a rapper, and his thoughts on being a working artist and entrepreneur.
